Authentic Japanese street food. So good! So much to try! I loved everything I ordered. Salmon skin, omelette with noodles inside, squid balls, beef tongue, bacon wrapped quail eggs, and so much more.... ???? highly recommended! …

The food here is absolutely amazing. Definitely among the best Japanese food I've had so far (even by Californian standards). Highly recommend the seafood okonomiyaki, the soft tofu appetizer, and the matcha pudding. Everything we've had here is soooooo good. The matcha pudding is divine.

A great rendition of a Japanese Izakaya. The staff is very welcoming. The torched mackerel is perhaps my favorite dish of all time, the perfect combination of salt and fat. The okonomiyaki is a close runner up, as is the pork oroshi hire. They do not Scarface quality despite having an extensive menu. The specials are a nice touch too.

I recently broke my femur and am using a wheelchair to get around outside. The owner of the restaurant was very accommodating and welcoming; he made sure I had a clear path through the crowded restaurant and put in extra care to seat us at a table with enough room for my chair. A++ for service! Food and drink were amazing as well; perfect mix of flavors and big portions. Will definitely be back!

Delicious cocktails and food. You cannot go wrong here with anything. The fried chicken (kara agi) is so good!!! I've come here twice in two consecutive days and had to have it again. The sukiyaki okonomiyaki was delicious as well.

The food was so delicious and with speedy service. A lot of the plates are large as they're meant for sharing. Strongly recommend the crab croquettes as well as the Spicy Chicken and Cheese Okonomiyaki

This restaurant looks like Japanese izakaya, which serves drinks and food that matches your drinks. Atmosphere of the restaurant is also similar to that in Japan. Various food menus from sashimi to teppanyaki were served. Though prices are slightly high, you would satisfy your experience in the restaurant!

Landed in Boston and wanted some authentic Japanese food. Ittoku delivered a phenomenal meal and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great as well. I haven't had Omusoba in 20 + years and it was as good as I remember from when I lived in Okinawa.

We tried to grab dinner at yume but they stopped taking people so we had to find a plan B, thankfully we went to Izakaya ittoku and had a great meal. We got the chefs choose skewers, the cold dan dan noodle special, and the beef and pork okonomiyaki. We enjoyed everything but the Dan Dan noodles were delicious although we added the egg which didn't do much for the dish. The okonomiyaki was good but it came out late, I think it's because they forgot the dish. The skewers were good, wifeys favorite was the chicken skin. She didn't know what it was until I searched the menu and deduced it from process of elimination. When I told her it was chicken skin, she was shook but then said I'd get it again.

I really like those traditional Japanese dishes served by Ittoku such as Ankimo, Onigiri, and mentaiko-flavor squid. These are rarely served in most Japanese restaurants in MA. Hence, I would like to say Ittoku is one of the best japanese restaurants serving the real japanese cuisine in the greater Boston area. Because Ittoku is always popular, the servants usually reminder their customers that it will take more than 45mins to prepare a dish (especially Sushi and Sashimi). But it usually takes 20-30mins for a dish. Overall, service is fair. The restaurant is located in a mall near Lesley University. It really took me some time to find the place for the first time. The place is a bit old, but still neat. I will suggest people to make a reservation for a serious dining in because this place is really popular and full of people all the time. Otherwise, you can only sit at the bar area and it will turn out to be a bit crowded sitting there if you order a bunch of dishes.
